32 bit vs 64 bit installers

Nitro Pro can be installed on either the 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows. For our Online customers the Nitro Pro 'exe' installer will determine the bit version of Windows you are running and install the correct version automatically. If you do need to determine if you are running the 32 or 64 bit version of Windows on your computer please follow the directions listed below. 

Windows 10

1. On the keyboard, press the Windows Key + Pause 
2. Under System, see System type for details.

Windows 8 

1. On the keyboard, press the Windows Key + Pause 
2. Under System, see System type for details.

Windows 7

1. Click Start > Computer.
2. From the menu bar, click System properties to view basic information about your computer.
3. Under System, see System type for details.

Windows Vista

1. Click Start > Computer.
2. From the menu bar, click System properties to view basic information about your computer.
3. Under System, see System type for details.

Windows XP

1. Click Start, right-click My Computer  > click Properties.
2. In the System Properties dialog box > click the General tab.
3. Under Computer, you will find System Type details.

Note: If your computer is running the 64-bit edition, “64-bit Edition” will appear at the end of your operating system; otherwise, your computer is running the 32-bit edition.
